Is it time for your next vacation? Yes, it should be! Studies shows that travel can lower risk of heart disease, renew intimacy in relationship and reduces stress. Well, every excuse is good, right? 😉
But, first things first. Before you head out you will have to get ready and this also includes packing your suitcase. Unless you are not some kind of packing maniac, this probably is not fun for you. No matter how many lists you make before packing, you will forget something important behind.
Do you want to know what are the most common items people usually forget to pack for vacation? Check if the list below matches your own. 😉
List of most common things we usually forget to pack. By the way – you can write your list down in our newest Travel planner - chek it HERE.
How often do you forget it? I know i do almost every single time! And it is not that big of a deal if you do, right? You simply visit a store and get new one, in case you are staying in a hotel you can even ask for it in the front desk. They usually let you have it for free.
2. Laundry bag
Ever notice how dirty laundry piles up while you are on vacation? Instead of leaving it in piles or shoving it back into your suitcase, keep soiled clothing separate from clean items by investing in a travel laundry bag to take on every trip.
3. First aid kit
Yup, accidents happens no matter where you are and the last thing you will want to deal with while traveling is looking for a box of bandages. Always pack a small first aid kit with basic items.
4. Phone charges
I just hate when this happens. You too? But it can happen very easily. Yes, you can buy it a the airport or store, it is not a problem. But, the bad news is, it will probably cost you 20 $ or even more. You can spend that amount of money for something more pleasant, like massage, margarita or anything else really.
5. Converter plug
Yes, it happens all the time so do not feel too bad if it has happened to you too. It can be a nightmare when you find out your phone charger does not fit into the wall.
6. Pen and paper
Hey, i am going to vacation! Why should i take pen and paper with me? Well, you might need it. Have you ever been asked to fill out a document on the plane or the airport? And then you are forced to ask other travellers for it. Now you now what i am talking about. 😉
7. Copies of travel documents
Most of our booking info is on our smartphones these days, if anything happens to your phone during holidays, you could be left without it. Having a backup copy of travel documents and passports can ensure you have a smoother experience if something should happen to either your passport or phone.
Our tip – do not rush when packing! Take your time and double check everything. And one more thing – sometimes the unthinkable happens. Sometimes bags go missing, so make sure all your valuables are in your hand luggage and always pack a spare change of clothes in your hand luggage too, just in case the worst happens.
And now you are ready. Ready to enjoy your well deserved vacations! Have fun. 😊
